Spring comes in like a LION!


This year’s Blue-White game features the Nittany Lion’s Top-20 recruiting class and returning star halfback Saquon Barkley. You might have heard of him: He’s the 19-year-old beast who ran for nearly 1,100 yards during his freshman campaign and just power-cleaned 390 pounds during spring work-outs.

In addition to watching the sophomore sensation, this year’s game may shed some light on which of PSU’s three QB candidates-- Tommy Stevens, Trace McSorley or Jake Zembiec—will fill the very large shoes of the departing Christian Hackenberg.

Springtime in our beloved college town brings thousands of Penn Staters out of hibernation and onto the beautiful grounds of Dear Old State, where squirrels scamper, birds chirp and Lions roar. . . lots of natural beauty budding all over campus!

The Boss Is Back In Town!

Those of you who lived Penn State in the mid to late 70’s probably recall a young rocker at the beginning of his career playing over three hours in Eisenhower Auditorium in February of ’75. 

Hot off the release of his third studio album, “Born to Run,” Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen returned to Rec Hall in April of 1976 and tickets sold out at a feverish pace within three hours.
