If you haven’t had the chance to make the trip back to Happy Valley for a great Nittany Lion Football weekend with your Phi Sig Brothers, you still have one more opportunity left. There is one home game remaining on the schedule; Penn State vs. Rutgers on 11/30. It has been an amazing season so far and there has never been a better time to come back and experience that Happy Valley energy.

The November edition of State College Magazine just came out featuring the “Best of State College” available HERE. It includes a fantastic list of all of the new and classic attractions and restaurants around town that you can check out before and after the games.

While you can still hit the mainstays like The Corner Room, The Tavern, Café 210 there are a number of great new spots to check out as well. Champs Downtown is a new spot that has hit the ground running or for something a little quieter, you can head out to Toftrees and get a fantastic meal at The Field Burger and Tap. If you want some of the best locally-brewed beer in the area, look no further than Otto’s Pub and Brewery or Happy Valley Brewing Company.

Football season always seems to come and go much too quickly and it is one of the most exciting times to visit State College. Call your Phi Sig Brothers and make plans to get here before bowl season. Happy Valley continues to grow and improve with better food, more places to stay and more great attractions while maintaining that small town charm we all came to know and love. We hope to see you!
