If you’re looking for another reason to line up your fall visit the [Alpha Alpha Alpha] house, the Lion’s Blue-White scrimmage gave us reason to be optimistic.

QB Trace McSorley put on a dazzling display, as the Nittany Lions debuted new Offensive Coordinator Joe Moorhead’s high-octane, mobile offense. McSorley led the offensive cadence for the Blue squad, slinging the ball all over Beaver Stadium as if it were a backyard sandlot, going 23-27 for 281 yards. Tack on four touchdowns, and Mcsorley has solidified himself as a main player in the quarterback chess battle between he and Tommy Stevens. who went 10-17 for 100 yards for the White squad.

Another fresh face was redshirt freshmen running back Andre Robinson, who galloped for a 28-yard touchdown. Sophomore standout Saquon Barkley did not play but was on hand to sign autographs for the faithful, who numbered about 75,000 strong:
