Kappa Chapter's 4th Annual Golf Outing brought nearly 35 alumni back to State College on the weekend of May 30-June 1. Brothers and guests golfed at Mountain View Country Club on Friday and on the Penn State Blue Course on Saturday. Following the golfing, everyone returned to the House for food and drink.

Winning the coveted Green Jacket for having the lowest score was Roy Kern '83. His name will be added to a new plaque with all the previous winners commemorated.

Awards were also given to the lowest scramble team, highest score and longest drive.  No one won the "closest to the pin" prize because no one hit the green on that hole. There was also a raffle with two gift certificate prizes. The $200 in proceeds from the raffle were contributed to the Kappa Chapter Scholarship Fund.

Many thanks to Dick Richardson '70 and to the chefs — Doug Arnold '70, Bruce Balmat '70 and Tom Petka '70 — for organizing another great event for Kappa Brothers and their friends and relatives. A special thanks to the four brothers who golfed with their sons.
