We are issuing a challenge. In today's age of e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other digital channels through which we can stay in touch, there is one very interesting finding. Many would assume that it would be brothers graduating in the years of 2000 to 2013 who would be the most connected. They would be correct.

Our database list shows that it is those brothers who graduated between 2000 and 2013 who reign supreme in their ability to stay connected with their 1,099 brothers through e-mail (based on the number of e-mail addresses we have for each decade). This is followed by those who graduated in the 1990s and those who graduated in the 1980s and 1970s.

So, between now and May 1, we will hold a challenge to see how many e-mail addresses we can get from each decade.

Here are a few brothers we are missing:

Raymond Jansen ’49
Jack Szafran ’56
Joel T. Runkel ’62
John Palmer ’76
Greg Lyle ’81
Craig Maddox ’96
Daniel Fecht ’04
