Beta Theta Pi was recently featured on the front page of the Centre Daily Times, State College's daily newspaper. The Beta house is undergoing extensive renovations that will be financed by the largest known gift an alumni has given to a fraternity. Don Abbey '70 has donated a $3.5 million to the project that he is also overseeing. Abbey's commitment, dedication and generousity serves as a milestone of the Greek Pride: A Return to Glory initiative and an inspiration to all greek alumni and undergraduates.
