Interfraternity Council expels Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity

Student could enter ARD in Dado furnishing case
Penn State student Jennifer Clifford could enter the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program today in connection with furnishing alcohol to Penn State freshman Joe Dado.

Clifford, 21, was charged with furnishing the alcohol to Dado, then 18, that police said he drank in his dorm room on Sept. 19, 2009. According to court documents Dado consumed it with friends before heading out to Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, 321 E. Fairmount Ave.

Police said Dado then visited Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity, 319 N. Burrowes Road, before leaving to go back to his dormitory. But on his way back, the Latrobe native fell 15 feet to his death in an exterior stairwell near the Steidle Building, police said.
