The 2nd Phi Sig Golf Outing and Cookout, held May 19th, was a huge success and this event promises to become a regular Spring occurrence. There were 28 golfers and 27 folks attended the cookout following golf under perfect weather conditions.

A gourmet steak dinner was prepared and served by Head Chefs Doug Arnold ('70), Paul Robertson ('71), Jon Little ('66) and Bruce Balmat ('70). Alumni President Dick Doherty ('58) presented the Outstanding Alumni Award to Bill Neugebauer (Indiana, '63) who attended with his wife Linda.

Golf awards were also distributed at the dinner for lowest score (Rich Newell, '68), closest to the pin (Ben Jarmul, '81), longest drive (John Eppenstein, '04) and highest score (Mike Bache, '78).

This event provided a great opportunity to renew old friendships and rib each other about golfing prowess and anecdotes from PSU days. Thanks to Dick Richardson for organizing the event. Plan to attend next year and maybe you can win one of the big prizes!
